In CIMSNex, ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of organizational processes is crucial for sustaining operational excellence and achieving strategic objectives. The Process Monitoring and Measurement Planning feature offers a systematic framework for crafting tailored monitoring, measurement, analysis, and evaluation plans to oversee the performance of diverse processes across the organization. By methodically delineating key metrics, CIMSNex empowers users to leverage data-driven insights for informed decision-making and to spearhead continuous improvement endeavors.
To access the Process Monitoring and Measurement Planning feature in CIMSNex, follow these steps:
- Hover over the "Planning" menu.
- Hover over "KPI Management" and click on "Create New KPI".

Process-ID: An ID reference to the specific process being monitored, serving as a unique identifier.

MM No: A system-generated ID for the Monitoring and Measurement Plan, providing a unique reference.

Date: The date when the Monitoring and Measurement Plan is developed, with a default value set to the current date.

What to Measure: Select the specific domain to be measured e.g Health and Safety

Measure: Select the measure from the list based on the standard requirements

Measurement & Analysis by: Specifies the entity or department responsible for conducting the measurement and analysis.

Department: Specifies the department within the organization responsible for the measurement and analysis.

Specification: Specifies the quantiftative/ Qualitative parameter or indicator to measure performance of the process.

Evaluation Frequency: Specifies how often how often the results of monitoring and measurment will be evaluated

Evaluation Method: Specifies the method of evaluating the results e.g through an HSE review meeting, Management review meeting, etc

Evaluation by: Specifies the entity or individual responsible for conducting the evaluation e.g. steering committee

Additional Details: Additional information or details that provide context or clarification regarding the Process Monitoring and Measurement Plan.
After submission, the plan will be saved along with additional descriptions of the Key Performance Indicators or metrics. This plan will serve as a guide for generating or preparing reports according to the specified frequencies.
VIEWING CURRENT PLANS
To access the current plans, navigate to the same menu and hover over "KPI Management." Then, click on "View Current KPIs." Here, you can review the active plans. If a plan is no longer needed, you can terminate it by clicking the "Close" button. A form will appear where you can select "Complete" from the dropdown menu and provide a reason for terminating or closing the plan. After submission, the plan will be removed from the list of active plans.
VIEWING ALL PLANS
To view all plans, including both current and closed plans, hover over the same menu and click on "KPI Management." Then, select "View All KPIs." This will display a comprehensive list of all plans, allowing you to track both active and completed initiatives.
