This guide will walk you through the process of creating and managing disaster recovery plans for your IT assets. To access the IT Recovery Planning feature, follow these steps:

Hover over the "Planning" menu: Located on the navigation bar of CIMSNex.

Select "IT Recovery Planning": This option enables you to create and manage IT recovery plans.

Click "Create": This action initiates the creation of a new recovery plan.
When creating a recovery plan, you'll need to follow these steps:

Select Asset: From the list of assets displayed, click the "Add" button next to the asset for which you want to create a recovery plan.

Complete the Form: Fill out the following fields in the recovery plan form:

IA-ID: The unique identifier of the information asset.

ITRP No: The identification number of the IT recovery plan.

Date: The date of creating the recovery plan.
-
Potential Disaster: Select the potential disaster scenario corresponding to the asset. (e.g., ROU - xxxx for Router)

Response Time: The expected response time in the event of a disaster.

Recovery Time Objective: The targeted time to recover the asset.

Data Backup Frequency: How often data backups are performed.

Data Backup Location: The location where data backups are stored.

Recovery Site: The designated recovery site for the asset (if applicable)

Plan Owner: The individual or team responsible for the recovery plan.

Full Plan Testing Frequency: How often the full recovery plan is tested.

Attachment: Attach any relevant documents or files related to the recovery plan.

Additional Details: Any additional information about the recovery plan e.g. Specific emergency contacts

Submit: Once all fields are completed, click "Submit" to create the recovery plan.
After submitting the recovery plan, you can access it by following these steps:
